Nate Haase
Hi! I’m Nate Haase, and I look forward to co-leading the journey of NLC class 2030S with my wife, Sandy.
I am a lifelong Christian Scientist… born, raised, educated, and living in Southern California. I am an active member of the Yorba Linda Christian Science church, having served in most positions, including Sunday School teacher for the high school and college class where I have really enjoyed sharing the discourse and discovery of Divine Science with young seekers.
In my youth, I attended the A/U Ranches in Colorado only a couple times. Since then, I have grown to see the vital importance of providing youth with opportunities to grow in their practice of Christian Science. Subsequently, after several visits to the A/U Ranches as an adult (e.g. Memorial Day Work Weekends, Family camps, Christmas camps), serving as a teen mentor with the NLC class of 2021P, and having become a member of the Adventure Unlimited National Alumni Board, it is now an honor to contribute to nurturing our youth as an NLC class leader.
Sandy and I have adult children: son, daughter, and son-in-law who live nearby. In 2022, after wrapping up a career in electrical engineering (including a decade in engineering management), I joyfully shifted my priorities to my other love: music… as a guitar player and vocalist in a local performing and recording band. I also enjoy the adventure of world travel.
